During the inauguration, the each of the president of the commonwealth States planted a Ravenala Madagascariensis palm.

It is a large Park of about 80 acres of land. There's  a river  which runs across it and divides the Park into two. One  part of it is dedicated to savanna, rainforest, deciduous forest trees and Nigeria's mountain vegetation.
The other part is made up of pools , fountains and flowers with series of multicolored bushes going from red to yellow with a particular wave like course.

There is also a part of it that has different equipments for kids to play and plenty of space for picnic. So you can say the place is a good for the whole family to go and just relax. Or you and your friends are looking for a place to just chill out? Look no further because Millennium is the place you are looking for.

And you are probably wondering which rock is that at the background. That's the famously infamous Aso Rock right there. It is where the Nigerian presidential villa is located. So you see, the Park is one of those must visit locations in the city. Therefore, do yourself a favor and visit this beautiful place when next you visit Abuja if you have not.

Oh! And the Park was designed by the one and only Manfred Nicoetti, the Italian architect.
